My Bucket List Destinations

Now that I am at country #40 I have been thinking a lot about my bucket list destinations. I am obsessed with the New York Times 52 Places to Go list that is published annually. It is always wonderful to see the places I have visited and the ones still left to explore. In 180 UN recognized countries whittling my list down to a doable bucket-list of 5 is no easy task.

However, my top 5 include:

Anguilla:

Full disclosure, I have been to Anguilla and it was and is the most beautiful, peaceful place I had ever been to. From the world-class restaurants, pristine beaches, quaint galleries, it is my heaven on earth. I have been dreaming of going back since the day I left.

The Maldives:

One of my biggest regrets was not going to the Maldives when I lived in Malaysia. From the moment I saw, the Island President in 2011, I knew this beautiful archipelago had to be at the top of my bucket list. I am drawn to

Greece:

I have always been a little skeptical about European vacations but Greece is definitely one of my next must see destinations. From the Acropolis Museum in Athens to island hopping through the picturesque vistas of the Greek isles, I can't wait to immerse myself in Greek culture and indulge in a shopping spree.

Kenya:

Going to Uganda changed me as a traveller. It opened a whole new perspective for me and I can't wait to be back on the continent. I have been dreaming of a Kenyan safari since I saw Oprah touring the Serengeti and an endless slew of influencers at Giraffe Manor.

Antartica:

I have a hate-hate relationship with cold climates but Antartica would be my 7th continent so of course I have to check it off my list. Another regret is that I didn't go when I lived in New Zealand since it was just a four hour flight from Christchurch. So one winter very soon I hope to find some cashmere sweaters and the warmest winter suit I can find and make the journey to Antarctica.

Bring on the endless adventures, which one do you think I will cross off the list first?
